POLICIES AND PROGRAMS
The University of California, through the statewide Vegetable Crops Workgroup
and the UC Davis Vegetable Crops Department and with input from a broad
representation of external clientele, UC campus faculty and counties Cooperative
Extension farm advisors, have established a Vegetable Research and Information
Center.

The Vegetable Research and Information Center is a service
unit dedicated to communication, coordination and leadership in all
areas of UC involvement in vegetable biology, production, handling,
marketing and consumption.

It is a focal point for vegetable information and issues for clientele
both inside and outside the University system.
